Many golfers ask how do I improve my golf game? I say Discovery of your “physical limitations” is the first step to a lifelong better game of golf and you can set up a game plan to improve it by stretching for golf. Your swing faults may be a flexibility issue.Golf stretch exercises are obviously less vigorous than strength training, making it choice number one for improving distance, consistency and power. That’s not to discount the importance of strength training for golf.

Great golf begins with stretching, bending, loosening up, and matching my desired outcomes with the realities of a body grown lazy over the winter.Stretching exercises can help you a lot in improving a golf swing. A player should have enough flexibility and strength for performing well in the game of golf.Far too often, golfers improve their ball striking and short game abilities by practicing and working with instructors, but these improvements don’t carry over to the golf course. Most players realize this problem is “in their heads,” but they don’t really know where to start in improving their mental games.

I’ve found there are two types of golfer: Those who practice, and those who don’t . If you’ve read this far, then I’m sure you are one of the few who work on your golf game, but would love to have even a better game, because you want to have fun and see real results today. I’ve played with a lot of golfers with varying skill levels and the number one thing they can do to improve their handicap is putting.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen men, women, boys, or girls painfully knock the ball around on the putting green resulting in a 3 or 4-putt . Getting a consistent golf school that teaches good information can drop your score by 10 shots. So the next time you ask how do I improve my golf game start out with adjusting the little things first, and get that body working right.
